Penang Trip

I know it's a bit late to post this up, cause I finally have mood and time to spare on my blogs. I totally enjoy my Penang trip!!

Warning: Loads of Pictures ahead. This is picture blog, without much typing..

27/6/2008 Friday
On the bus to Penang!!
Enjoying sunset on my way to Penang on Penang Bridge!!
On the way there is boring, camwhore fills time!!

No pictures for dinner cause I was way too hungry and totally forget about taking photos.

28/6/2008 Saturday
Hell day for traffics..

Before starting our Penang Trips, brother had bought my mom n I to very old school kopitiam that rarely can be seen in KL.

My butter bread, half boiled egg, nasi lemak and coffee
3 sets just cost us RM12!!
CHEAP!! WHERE DO YOU GET THAT CHEAP FOOD IN KL?

Full and satisfied!! Then move on with our trip!!

1st destination, Kek Lok Si (am i correct?)

I believe most of you all been there, I've been there but I was 6-7 years old. My image on Kek Lok Si is totally blured. I just know turtle and temple temple temple~

We went up to the highest peak which is the Guan Yin Temple.

Me n Guan Yin.. wt..

Guan Yin Temple
Got pondok n fountain. good feng shui lor

Munwai!! I FOUND U!!Am I fierce?
Before...
After.. dunno how many yrs..
One of the atap(wat it call in english ar? zinc?) we donated to build the Guan Yin Atap.. wtf
My mom's caligraphy..

Then we drove down to look for turtles to refresh my long lost memories..
A place where turtle lives.. wtfIt's beautiful but...
There's so much beggar!! temple with beggar?
*those people who are sitting*
TURTLES!!!
MAMA MISS YOU!! wtf

Kek Lok Si is super super super super boring!! I will be there for once and that's it!! I wont be going there for the rest of my lives. I have enough of going to temples. Why are people love going there? Ok, I'm not being offensive, just that I don't find a temple as a TOURIST DESTINATION. If Christian or Muslim are doing that, does that mean we have to visit churches and mosques too? That's the same thing apply to Thailand which is the worst trip I've ever ever been. I don't understand why they are bringing us to see temple again and again! I'm not a temple person!!

Ok, back to my Penang trip..
After visiting Kek Lok Si, it was around 11am. My brother drove us to Georgetown to have our lunch. Georgetown is a terrible place with hundreds of traffic light, small roads, loads of motorists, cars cut lane without signals.. oh god, it just give me headache and shocks!!

My brother fetched us to this tau sah pia shop which my mom regconized as the most famous tau sah pia in Penang. I went in and it's dam crowded! A woman bought around 30 boxes tau sah pia and others that cost her around RM300!! Chi ma gun!! Never had tau sah pia in ur whole life? she caused us cant buy it because out of stock, have to wait till 2.30pm!! but we still went back after we had our lunch!! hehe
The 'famous' tao sah pia I had back then..
the quality is bleh!! not as good as last time..

Lunch!! Lorong Selamat Char Kuey Teow

The most expensive char kuey teow I've ever had..
RM5 - char kuey teow with no egg
RM6 - small with egg
RM8 - big with egg
It tasted quite good to be frank. One of the best char kuey teow I've ever had but it just nothing so spectacular. The famous thing of this char kuey teow is because of the huge prawns.

After our lunch and tau sah pia, we went to more temples.. BORING!!~
Thailand Buddhist Temple..
Sleeping Buddha..
Me and my bro who's trying to act cute..

There's a machine which you put 50sen, then they will determine the number and you will got a paper for your future forecast. Do you understand? I dont think so.. just it's something like 'kao qim' but in machine way. I don't really have luck in these kind of things, it was not a really good thing for me. The tourist around said this is quite accurate but well I dont really believe in it. I am just a playful girl who likes vending machine. wtf

After that, we went to Myanmar Buddhist temple which located opposite of the Thailand Buddhist temple
It's like art gallery.. very well decorated..
The buddhist oso quite different

Not much temple pictures, cause IT'S BORING!!

Then we move on to have our tea time, CENDOL!!
I had heard tons of people talking about the famous cendol in Penang.
Okay, I tried it and I didn't finish it. Cendol is not my thing, it sucks badly!! lol Sorry Wendy, to be honest, it sucks! I cant believe my dad said he had 2 bowl of that. OMG!! It's so sweet!!

The famous and yet I cant finish de CENDOL..

After having the cendol, we headed to a place where monkeys live, Botanical Garden. I don't know why my brother wanna bring us there, he said he wanna take monkey photos. SWT!

There's a place where a lot of monkey lives right? but it was closed down for renovation. I forgotten the place but I think there's a place where we can feed monkey.
Monkey~~

Leaving Botanical Garden, we went to a place...
With this beautiful weather...
With hot Arabian...
Lots of palm trees and hot topless foreigners..

where else I can be?
I'm at Golden Sand Resort located at Batu Feringgi

Since we arrived there around 5pm, it was too hot to walk on the beach. We sneakily used the facilities at the resort. My bro and mom took a quick nap on it while I was enjoying looking some hot topless guys running around. We managed to do that till 6 something where a staff came to chase us out since we're not staying in the hotel. Sigh.. So we have to head on to the beach to wait for sunset..
Enjoying looking at hot topless guys and hot (arab) chicks..

Batu Feringgi reminds me of Pattaya where a lot of activities around. They have massage, manicure, braidings...
Motor riding.. dunno what it calls..
Parachute..
ME: Mama!! I want to get on the parachute too..
Mama: Girl, you did that last few years in Pattaya. Pay yourself if you want..
ME: *Run away* BAD MAMA!!!
Hot Arabian Chick.. Yeng! Dam hot still can smile..
HAM DAN!!
Last picture of the day...
This is for Wendy, I cant take any topless guys photo but I do get topless Asians for youu!!!

Day 3
Went to Queensbay Mall. That's all I did.

Queensbay Mall structure is quite similar with Midvalley. Since I dam frickkin familiar with Midvalley, shopping in Queensbay Mall is not a problem at all. My brother did said don't have too high expectation on it, but it shows that Queensbay Mall is not that bad at all. Although is not as good as Midvalley, but if I live in Penang for long term, I can survive. LOL. *that means i will die in Miri?*

Day 4
Went home with 7am bus!! FARK IT!!

Finally, the end...
