Olly's Birthday

It's exactly 1 month after Oliver's birthday and only have time to blog about it now. No, I shall say I am lazy to blog. Nowadays I am just munching snacks while watching Hell's Kitchen over the weekend and now I have a belly and fat arms to get rid of.

Just before Oliver's birthday, I got a birthday outfit for Benjamin. Everyone has been complaining his old shirt and needed a new one badly. So I got him a whole set of new clothes from Isetan, not pasar malam okay?

It was love at the first sight on the pants, I couldn't get my hands off especially the pants cost RM12 only!

However, I think this combination looks more like pajamas to me. LOL

Sorry Ben, your mom couldn't afford a more appropriate clothes for you

So with his new shirt, of course he has to join his dad's birthday dinner

This year, we did not go to any posh restaurant. Well, we are kinda broke after the Renaissance's fine dining. Oliver chose to prepare home-cooked food for us and Ben.

After watching so many episodes of Hell's Kitchen and bought a discounted cook book, he finally inspired to cook some dishes

 I am not going to use any jargon sentences to bombard you

It's just marinara spaghetti with bacon and parmesan cheese

The spaghetti was so good and I admit it was one of the best pasta I've had

*to get him to cook pasta for me while my parents are in shanghai :)

Then it's the dessert

Tried the cake from RT Pastry. Wanted to buy his favourite strawberry tart but tempted to try new things and ended up buying this cake. It was good, but I still prefer mousse over sponge cake. I will never buy this cake anymore

We ate the cake and watch Hell's Kitchen along the night. I know it's boring birthday dinner with no wine or flowers or whatsoever. He's dating an auditor, what do you expect? I would love him to save his money to go Australia or buy a car or buy designer bag for me *hint hint*

 

This marks our relationship on 2 and half years. I know Oliver did not enjoy the night because I was stressed out over my studies and I couldn't fully enjoy the night. I'll make other plans to fill up the spot. Just wait!
