Jessica recommended me Frontera in Jaya One. Frontera is a Mexican American restaurant which is very similar to Chilis. But here serves more Mexican food than I expected.
Me and the birthday boy
Laywee and Munwai
We started our meal with a bowl of tortilla chips
The chips was really good and immediately all of us called for 2 refills before our main were here
Chips and Salsa RM8.95
Then here comes our main course
Munwai was attracted by the name of the food, Boom Boom Chicken. We thought it is gonna be explosively spicy or special. However, it was a huge disappointment. It is just a fried chicken with lots of tartar sauce alike with his choice of sides.
Boom Boom Chicken RM24.95
Tony's BBQ Grilled Pineapple Chicken RM26.95
It was just a very normal chicken chop
Munwai and Tony are those friends who are not willing to try new stuff
Laywee ordered Beef Enchilades RM28.95
We don't know what we're getting but it is a tortilla wrap with beef and topped with Mexican red chili sauce and cheese
Laywee said it was really good but it is too filling
Lastly it is my main course
I ordered Fontera Chimichanga
It was tortilla wrap with beef and top with con queso sauce and diced tomatoes
Can you see the cheese melting out from the fillings?
It was really good. However after 2 bowls of chips, this was too much for me
Gave it to the boys a portion of it but will definitely come back for this!
Commercial break!
Just to make sure I am not forgotten wtf
Laywee is a huge fan for Snowflake
So second round definitely will be at snowflake
Munwai and Me
Gay Tony and I
When we were taking photos, Laywee was...
patiently queue-ing to buy Snowflake for us
Don't understand why Snowflake is always crowded with people. Even weekdays!
3 bowls of snowflake
My favourite is still the orange tako with grass jelly
Still not a fan of snowflake. Just to prevent painful monthly business and girls should not eat or drink cold stuff at my age. Not to say I am old, but have to take extra care of the food intakes although I am still having Mcd at weekly basis wtf
Last photo of the day
You can see the happiness and excitement of Laywee's face after tasting his first bite of snowflakes

Hi,
Thanks for the post. Nice pic!
Just to keep you posted:
1. The Chips & Salsa are RM 12.95++, not RM 8.95++ (yes, we will update the website soon :) )
2. It's Chika Boom Boom, not Boom Boom Chicken ... ha ha :)
Again, thanks for the post :)
Cheers,
