On 2 December 2011, we went to watch Laywee's performance at KLPac. I am not really sure about the storyline because it was too long ago. It is about a scientist or inventor trying to find inspiration on a project. So his friends went to travel around the world for inspiration. Danze Academy and few dancing schools collaborate together to showcase the traditional dance from around the world.
KLPac located around Jalan Ipoh. It is a totally different world when I turned in from Jalan Ipoh. From a busy street to a peaceful and green university campus alike place. It reminds me of Queensland University with old British existing building turn into a modern building.
I love the concept using brick as the wall. Easily maintained and classy look

I have high expectation on the show. I thought it was something similar to the last Laywee's performance but I did not expect it was that bad...

Then the travelling started. I did not photograph some of the country's dance. Either I don't like the outfit or I was busy trying to video Laywee's dance move

Why would I send my kids to dance school when they couldn't dance? All I could comment is, they are so damn cute! Most of them doesn't know their moves and keep on staring at those who know the moves.
The whole dance crew
I felt I am one of the child's parents to come and see my child perform. Some of the performance was really good but some was sooooo dreadful. Especially the dance from Brazil and San Francisco. The girls dressed up so sexy and they are around 18 years old. I have high expectation on them because I thought they were well trained with this age. To my horror, they were so bad, out of sync, messy. There is obvious lack of practice among the girls. I would rather stay home watch Girls' Generation instead. Oliver was laughing his way because he said the girls danced so badly. He thinks my crab dance is so much better than theirs wtf! Yeah, my crab dance wins!
Basically Laywee wasted my money on this performance. I have to give credit to the guys, they were so gooood! Some of the performance like Slovakia and India are the highlights for the night. Brazil and San Francisco are the dreadful ones. Others I don't really remember anything at all. They should put my crab dance instead! wtf
