Yesterday, the 3rd day of the CNY, I had witnessed the scariest thunderstorm ever in my life. Just after 5-10 minutes back from work with Oliver, the weather turns black and it started to rain. Suddenly we heard some of my doors in my house closed with loud bang along with my neighbors' doors and some cars' alarm alerted including my SLK. Then mom started to shout, "Ah girl, faster close the main door! Very strong wind!" After closing the door, Oliver and I went to the glass door and witnessed all the trees were blown at 90 degrees to the left. We saw the raindrops were rain horizontally instead of vertical. When we were in amazed by the rain, my mom shouted again, "Ah girl, the rain came into our house. Faster go bring the pails and cloth. When we ran to the staircase, it is filled with rain. Leaves and rain were blown into our house through the windows on the very top of our house for ventilation purpose.
My mom and I were wiping the staircase while my dad went out bravely to switch off the SLK's alarm. LOL! My dad still thinks he is 40 years old and fight through the strong rain wtf.
My sister and brother-in-law were driving on the way to our house and was forced to stop at the roadside because they couldn't see anything on the road. When the rain subside, they came back and saw some of the trees were broke into half, bomba drove out. My sister thought it wasn't that bad and brought us out for dinner.
When we were at the park, one huge tree broke into half and landed at the terrace house opposite the park. Now we know the seriousness but we still need to go have our dinner. When we saw the restaurant was closed, we detour to Telekom building but a tree blocked the road and detour to the cross junction at Faber Tower to go back my house. However, 3 of the roads were blocked by trees. At that time, I was thinking, is this consider a disaster or what? We were forced to make a U-turn and drive home. We decided to call my mom to cook emergency dinner and we had late dinner at 8.45pm. I could even hear Bomba sawing trees in the middle of the night.
My neighbor said their roof tiles were blown. The rain came in and wet the bed. This is how bad was the wind. They hear sounds at their roof top and we were worried that our roof tiles were blown away like theirs too. Luckily, there's no dripping around my house.
When I read newspaper and looking through the photos in Facebook, a lot of trees were fallen off. I was in shocked how strong wind could damage Taman Desa in such a way. Luckily my neighbors chopped off their trees. If not, you might see my house in FB or newspaper while I am in background crying for mama.
Mama told me that our net loss is our dustbin cover were lost. We found our dustbin in the drain but not the cover wtf. Oliver told me after this thunderstorm, he wanted to fly back to KK for safety wtf. KK might have tsunami okay?
This water dragon CNY is a special year. We seldom experience rain during CNY! So, Rain = Money! Let's all the money come into my pocket!
To run off track, this is what my mom told me. If you are dragon babies, you gotta read it wtf. According to Mak Ling Ling wtf, dragon babies might have road accidents this year and we have to do scaling after CNY is over. So I said, I don't believe these things but since you want me to do scaling, I will make an appointment after CNY. So today when I was about to reach my office, the Malay girl's car in front of me make a signal to the left and steer to the left. So I thought she's gonna park at left side and I drove right to overtake her. But to my horror, she suddenly steer to the right which she's gonna bang me at anytime and I honk her like shit and managed to brake at the right time. Majibai! Put left signal but turn right! Can you imagine at this period, there is so many parking lots! Why you put left signal still have to turn right? Also, before you turn to right, at least seeeeee your right side mirror! This is what the mirror for! She did not apologize nor I scolded her, I was too scared and immediately wanted to find a parking to cool down. I am definitely making my appointment to the dentist after CNY ASAP!
